Booking one or all of our “Little Stars” portrait sessions are a great way to record your child’s growth in their first year when they change the most. We welcome parents to take part in all of our sessions and in most cases siblings too.

As a previous member of Cherubs the UK’s longest running pregnancy and newborn baby photography promotion – established by the Master Photographers Association in 1993 our studio recently decided to stepped down due to rising costs and limitations. However our studio still works with same professionalism as we did then and is still an active member of both the MPA and SWPP.

We believe in strict guidelines when it comes to child photography and that ALL photographers should be (at minimum) DBS checked for added security of children and their images. Here at Xpressions Studio Photography we have not only carried out and passed these crucial checks, but we are also fully trained in new born and toddler photography safety.

With the above in mind you can be assured that your child is in safe hands, something which is quite often overlooked by parents and inexperienced photographers who book on cheap price rather than service and safety. It is advisable to check the credentials and liability insurances before booking a session with a photographer you just found on Facebook. Photography has become far too obtainable for some to turn their hands too, our advise as photographers and as grandparents is to research before booking your child in with a photographer you don’t know.
